ok. i need to go out soon, so i shall post this quick. No, timing posted here, cause cheryl peromise to tell the time, so please do it cheryl! Dont ask me about the time, even if you guys want to come earlier. Haha. im in a rush now.

The address of my house is on my msn nick (since i dont want people like weihan to attack my hse. haha), please go see. I will put the directions here.

my house is at bowen secondary school there (which is beside gracehaven salvation army). In between both the location (which is in between the sch and sal. army), there is a stretch of road going down slope. Down the slope you will see a carpark, and thats my house.

OK now the bus sevrices,

to gracehaven sal. army : 109, 103, 854, 70, 73, 156, 43

to opp. gracehaven : all the above + 854

Now, there's another way to go my house, which is by the front, since i guess most of you come from gracehaven i shall put this as a secondary path, since most of the services to this bus stop is from hougang interchange. The stop is directly after XINMIN Primary School. The two different places to alight look totally different, cause one is by back and one by the front. So, if you guys are meeting, please confirm which bus services you are taking tyty.

Hey 0713 people,

Chuen Hwee here, as most of you know, me kwek chek keng will be running the full marathon this weekend, sunday, 7th december. All 42.195 km of it. Do hope you all will be able to come down and support haha. We'll appreciate it. Flag off is at 5.30 and i will probably finish around 10 and ck and kwek maybe slightly later. Hope to cya there!

We were thinking of having a class CHRISTMAS SLUMBER PARTY cum FAREWELL PARTY for the guys, so we need you to choose one of the days between 23 to 25 dec for this PARTY!!!!

We were thinking of holding the party at one of your houses (PLEASE VOLUNTEER YOUR HOUSE). We will be spending the night there. (Currently asking Soh Ee cause her house is like..the biggest haha)

ATTIRE: Pyjamas! ( like really pyjamas not your shirt and shorts like you’re going to play soccer those kind, hopefully..think SLUMBER PARTY style ya)

IMPORTANT: A Christmas present to exchange. Budget is between 5 to 10.

If we really cannot go to anyone’s house, LAST CHOICE we’ll go to the function room at Huijie’s condo. BUT we cannot stay over because her house is too small okay.

Last class gathering pple, we need a place to hold the party. And we wont mess up your house if you volunteer =)

What would I like to see in my aged parents/grandparents.

I am a boy. Boy Is a boy. Girl is a girl but I am not a girl. Why I am not a girl is because, I am a boy. A very good boy. I have a sister and 3 parents. 2 mothers and 1 father. They are mad people. And I am their mad child. We are all mad.

When they are old, I am hoping that they have earn a lot of money by then. Money is money. Not money is not money. Money is good so I like money. When they are old they will not need so much money so I can take all their money and use.

Because of my 3 parents, there are more of them to take care of each other. I can then go and use all their money as they do not need their money. They can go and play chess, sing song or play mahjong together, for all I care.

Looking outside my window-Describe sights sounds and activities.

Looking outside my window got bird, got boy. Boy eat bird, bird die. I see a rainbow outside. It is very colourful. I am happy because it is very beautiful. I see children playing with balls outside. All kinds of balls. Footballs, baseballs, basketballs, ballballs.

My mom and dad come into my room and sit beside me on my bed. They look outside the window too. My mom is sitting on my right and my dad is sitting on my left. They are happy that I am happy. Suddenly some sparrows flew past. Our family dog then jumped out of the window to catch some birds.

Our dog is very active dog. He eats a lot. He is an active dog who eats a lot. This is why he is active. However, he is not a very clever dog because he is mad. When he jumped out of the window to catch the birds, he forgot that our family lives on the twenty fifth floor. Dog die. Me sad.

This is a bad day for me looking outside the windows because I am sad. I am sad because my parents just bought the dog yesterday. We are sad. Suddenly an aeroplane flies pass the window. We forgot about our dog and are very surprised because we have never seen an aeroplane before. As a result, we are happy because the aeroplane is exciting.

My mom is talking to me, but I continue looking out the window. She screams but I still look outside the window. I am deaf because of the large sound from the aeroplane. We are sad again, but happy because the rainbow is still in the sky.

The Nike+ Human Race 10K Singapore will be held in the city centre, with mini concerts along the race route and a music festival at the end of the race that will be staged by local and international artists and bands to help inspireyou to log 10Ks you’ll never forget. Nike + Human Race 10k

Ok listen up boys and girls and everything in between. Lets make this official since some of you complain to not have heard about it. The Nike + Human Race 10k is on on the 31st of August. Lets have one last hurrah as a class before we dissolve into tha nail biting end of year A level period. It is a 10km run ( not as hard as it looks ) anyone interested do join. Our class has quite a sizable amount of people going so you all will not be alone. Also, there will be alot of performances and stuff en-route, so it will be an interesting experience.

Date: 31st August
Time: 4pm
Cost: $27 ( its cheap!! ) after GST by credit card, online payment only
Entitlements: Nike Human Race running shirt with customised bib number, finisher bracelet, and tons of other goodies that have not been confirmed yet

for those going for the fishing trip at Punggol end, the only bus u can take to reach there is 82. The bus will loop at that jetty, hence it u will know it once u reach there.

If can, bring a 1.5l water bottle, a portable chair, a icebox, hat, umbrella, snacks, PSP and EXTRA CLOTHES.

Location: the condominium beside NORTH VISTA SECONDARY SCHOOL(not the condo OPPOSITE)
Time: the bbq will start in the evening ,u can reach anytime u want but not after 7pm or prepared to get screwed.

Army Half Marathon

Yo people check this out, army half marathon is on the 24th of Auguest. You all know what day is before that ;). Ok, anyway registration is online, i thought u guys might be interested. The cost is $25 for the 21km half marathon, and $18 for the 10km, there is a 6km run but that one i suggest you all dont go, because it has no medals and certificate. Its bloody cheap, compared with the Standard Chartered Marathon, i paid 50 plus bucks for the Half Marathon there. So you guys interested?

It might be close to your prelims but a little exercise wouldnt hurt right? Runners are entitled to "You will find in your race pack an Event T-shirt, Number Tag, ChampionChip programmed with your data, Goodie Bag and Lucky Draw Coupon. You will only receive the finisher’s medal at the finishing line on the event day. All competitive runners will enjoy free bag deposit service on the event day. A personalised certificate will also be sent to you one month after the event." so not a bad deal. Registration is until 31th July, but you'll have to pay more the later you sign up so i suggest we consolidate and register before the holidays are over. Also i am suggesting that those who wanted to go for the mizuno wave run skip it, reviews for the conducting of last years events are not that good, and the dont even use championchip for timing ( army half as well as stand chart uses championchip ), and no certificate. Event: NTU Bike Rally, 128km round island cycling. (non-competitive)

Cost: $20 registration, $17 for rental of bike and $3 for helmet

The starting point would be at East Coast Park and i am not sure of the route but i think it will take us past many landmarks so i think it would be interesting.

(Definition of smarter: Hong Hao lah, blowing his own trumpet!)

3)For days that have PE, we will wash up before studying in the canteen

4)For days that do not have PE, we will use the last classroom as our study venue.

5)For some days, we can study after a class soccer session.

To our class ogls: You may be stunned on how we managed to come up with this mugging idea. It was after MR KWEK and MRS Celine Leow's TALK that made us realise how close the major tests and A-levels are.

Hey people, yesterday i (gabriel) was on the bus with amos and hazel after the cip thing. And decided that we should have a christmas outing for 0713!! hows that sounds??

Ok. Now i would explain WHY choose this place and the dress code. Because im sure some people would LOVE to be logical and need lots of reasons. haha.

Its the same as Marché. So...the budget would be $15-$30++ if you eat more. So the more you eat the more you pay. Sounds ok?? Its sort of like a food court, in a restaurant.

Time
It would be on the 26th dec, cause i scare people like got church or family/friends party. And its dinner. Its like more convenient. If unhappy pls comment.

Dress code
Its just for the fun of it. Since its like still christmas. I mean like only one day after that. Or lets call it boxing day dinner. Haha. Things to do when we reach there.

Sort and write the names on the presents
Blow and put up balloons on the ceilings and walls.
Write names on masking tapes and paste on shirt.
Any other unforeseen tasks

We must finish those activities before 11am. After which, the children will start to “come out”.

11 am to 12pm, we will separate the children into 4 mixed groups as shown in the table. This is to allow us to better “control” their behaviour. We will introduce ourselves. To make things easier, we also tape down their names onto their shirts.

We can play games such as name memory games. As they know each other quite well, we will ask them to remember each others interests.

12pm to 1 pm will be our buffet lunch. We will let the children take first. In the meantime, we will hold a short meeting to discuss about our next few events.

1pm to 2.30pm. We will be playng another set of games but still within out set of groups. The games are free for all.

2.30pm to 4pm will be mass game time

-Primarily musical chairs

At about 3.45pm. We will be distributing the presents to the kids. The prizes for those who can stay last at the musical chairs will also be given at this time.

From my previous post, I mentioned about those who wanna come earlier can come. In line with Guo Hao's suggestion. I have set two meeting times.

The first one will be at 9.30am at Choa Chu Kang MRT station. I will be here to meet those who want to come earlier. (For those who wanna come at this time, please inform me. )

The second meeting time will be 10.15am at CCK MRT. This is for those who do not wish to wake up so early. But please take note, I will not be around for this second time so your please take the intiative to come ON TIME.

For those who wanna come in between the two slots, your go directly to Sunbeam at 28 Hong San Terrace yourself. For the 0715 people, I will understand if your take the 10.15am slot. Your can come at 9.30am but please note the sacrifice to your sleeping time.

I know your may be tempted to come later. But please come earlier if you can make it, so we can have more time to put up the decorations and settle any last-minute stuff.

Intro to organisation: This organisation is dedicated to taking care of children whose parents cannot provide for them adequately.

We have to organise some games and play with the 14 23-37 children. (I apologise for the hiccup earlier.) Due to constraints and the fact that ppl have not really confirmed with me. There are only places for 14 people. The children we are in charge of are from age 3-14. There will be people from the organisation helping us too.

The situation is that,

10.30am-11am Prepare the area such as putting up decorations.

11am-12pm Introduce ourselves. Play some preparatory games

12pm-1pm. Buffet lunch for those who have confirmed with me

1pm-4pm. Play games and entertain them (Open to suggestions)

4pm-4.30pm Clearing up

We need to buy presents (to be wrapped) for the kids and suitable decorations to be put up. Budget is $30/kid. The presents we are getting have to match their gender and age which is available in the picture above. We will be claiming from the organisation. hey guys and girls, chwee/chuen hwee/ albert/ cherry here. Think u all shld know by now. me jiarong, our dear 0713 ct rep toh hong hao, gabriel, and chek keng will be taking part in the standard chartered half marathon next sunday at the padang, 2nd dec. would appreciate if u all could come down and give us ur support, class spirit :D. then maybe we all could go for like class lunch or smthing after that. Hazel will also be volunteering i think... well ur support counts trust me ( football fans will know how it feels to be playing to an empty stadium haha ). well if u all are interested, can get the details from me/ any other participants during teh chalet. thx lots.

ok, next. hey to the guys taking part ( no girls lol ) bring ur singlet for the marathon to the chalet. mayeb wear it a little to get used to the feel together or smthing. DO NOT ATTEMPT to run with the shirt if u havent worn it before. it'll be damn uncomfortable. and also bring that card which u are allowed to write messages along haha. and for those ppl going to collect teh REP. GO EARLY, the queues are damn hardcore. another word of advice. dont even think of running in the school's PE shorts. they SUCK. even those new ones. the other time me and jiarong ran 15k together in those shorts gave us abrasions like hell. mine lasted for like 3 days? yea so unless u wanna spam painkillers after the race and walk bow legged, get a proper pair of running shorts, or at least a good quality pair of shorts. HH : no bball shorts. hey JR the energy gels we'll talk bout it after i am back from malaysia, if u wanna u can discuss with HH and teh rest 1st then inform me when i am back and stop ruining ur adizer for goodness sake lol.

Hi to all 0713 peeps, as seen from the title i guess u guys know who I am. Hope I am not forgotten ya.
Congrats to all of you for getting promoted , saw this piece of good news from Jun Hong's blog and also from Cindy's sms.
I was quite amazed when I receive this email from Jun Hong. I thought he sent it wrongly but nevertheless whether it was accidentally or what I still decided to pen down my thoughts about 0713 here.
I would like to thank these following people-Cindy, Hui Xin, Hong Hao, Yan Chao, Albert, Guo Hao and Jia Rong for being so nice by sending sms and talking to me 0n MSN when I chose to leave the school and even to persuade me to stay on. I really thank you guys a lot for that concern. Although my final decision was still to leave, I still appreciate that concern from you guys. Frankly speaking I was very stress up during mid-yrs like all of you and I was just escaping away from reality. Thinking about it now, I felt that I had made rash decisions and it was really foolish of me to do so. Although I do regret leaving the school, I admit that I regret leaving the class even more.
Coming to my PW group, I am extremely(x1000)sorry for leaving you guys at this crucial period. Given the fact that another group member was leaving too, I felt even more guilty. I hope that you guys did well for PW OP and stuffs. I apologise to all of you sincerely.
Next will be my best friend in this class. I am really sorry for leaving you all alone. Congrats for your improvements made in Chinese during your promos. I dun think its pure luck, I believe that you have worked hard to achieve that commendable grade. Btw Thanks for being there for me all the time listening to my craps. Sorry that I was so troublesome all the time and a little paranoid at times too. But all in all, I still thank you for being my best friend although it was only for three months but I wont forget such a cherishable friend.
HuiXin, thanks for being such a nice friend too. Thank you very much for taking over my two tutees. You are actually the first person I know in this class and I still remembered sitting with you in the hall, chatting together during Orientation2. Then Albert came to interfere and told us to stop talking. Then amazingly it turn out that Albert and you were in the same class during PAE. I know I am a bit insensitive at times. If I did anything that offend you, I am very sorry and I really dun mean it.
Albert, thanks for being such a enthu OGL of OG32 and also sports rep of the class. I got a shock when I found out that you were in the same class as me. By the way, I got a student who really resembles you a lot in appearance, intelligence and also character. Yan Chao, thanks for chatting with me on the phone after I had withdrawn from the school. I feel better after talking to you. You are just like a counseller.lol.
Jun Hong, thanks for being my chem partner and helping me so much in the practicals. Without your help, I will feel really helpless at that time as I knew nothing about titration at all and it was such a coincidential that my primary school classmate who is also my group leader at that time is now my chem partner. No matter what, I would still like to thank you for helping me and I apologised for the trouble caused.
Kheng Meng, sorry that I left at such a crucial time and burdened you with such an overwhelming load esp during the mid-yrs. But nevertheless you have overcome it which proves that you will have a great future ahead. I swear.
John, thanks for accompanying me that day when Cindy was absent from school. Without you, I will be so lonely that day also for ponning chem lecture for helping me to type out my pw draft. Thank you so much for being such a great friend.

Birthday celebration!!!

Guys ! ... next up is weiliang birthday celebration!

As u all know .. for all your birthday he has been the one buying cake and planning the celebration.. so now we shall give him a big birthday surprise on sat !

This is the plan ...
we shall meet at 12.30 pm outside NYJC bb court entrance, by then the cake will be ready as in the morning i will go and get the cake.

Then we shall proceed to his house void deck.

After which we will call him down to celebrate with us.

He will not be told of the plan so this shall act as a surprise to him.

Yups .. don reveal our plan to him kkz.

After the celebration whoever needs to go can go if no we will den have some ball games eg: soccer or badminton.

Soccer can be played at the bb court , badminton can be played at a court near the CC.

Ok guys, as you all know, the chalet is only like 3 weeks away only. So we've planned interesting activities for the chalet stay. Do give constructive comments about the activities and we'll try our best to accommodate everybody.

Day 1-27/11/2007
1600 Book in(We'll tell you what time to meet.)
1600-1700 Unpacking of stuffs
1700-Night Catching(game)+ indoor games such as twister, zhong ji mi ma, murderer and detective, card games, board games.
After which, the BBQ will then start. We'll chat/gossip/crap/scream/whatever while eating. Do have a good time eating:). Bathing will come in after the BBQ, one by one or together, whether you're homo or straight. Then, there will be a surprise by the girls?? Wonder what will they be doing to the guys.

And still, there will be MOVIE TIME. Movie shown will not be anything of horror, gore so that everybody are able to watch the movie. Try not to sleep while watching the movie. After the movie, we'll go fer a class walk by the beach, and also see the sunrise. The walk will be something like a free time for everybody. Most probably, we'll start gossiping again? Everybody in 0713 sure do have one big mouth. Lols.

Day 2-28/11/2007
0830 Breakfast at MacDonalds

After our breakfast, we will then have a few rounds of indoor games. Also, people who wish to cycle or rollerblade can do so. Soccer can also be played for those who wants to. But take note of the time.
1230 Buying of Lunch-free for all Lunch will be like that time at Vivo, where we all went separate ways to buy the food that we want. We will gather back at the chalet by 1300. For those who are going cycling, you guys can buy back from where you all went, den head back to chalet. PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE. We will then eat at the chalet, and then gossip(again?).

1530-1830 Water games + Captain's ball
The round object used for the captain's ball will be a ballon filled with water. This is to prevent domination of the game and to allow everybody to participate in the game.

1830-1930 Bathing time. Again, you can choose one-by-one or one whole gang of people, depening on your type. Lols.

1930 onwards Dinner at either Swensens or Pizza Hut. We will try booking the place so that we won't have to wait for seats. After dinner, we will return to the chalet for another round of movie. Again, no gore or horror. Free time will be given after the movie. People can also choose to sleep if they are already dying.

Day 3-29/11/2007 Wake up, rise and shine, and it's now time to clean up the chalet. Everybody will do this cleanup, no slacking. We'll pack up our stuffs and most probably book out by 1000. AND IT'S THE END. How sad.

So these are the activities and we hope that everybody will give their comments on it, whether you're for it, or against it. While giving comments, do think of everybody, and not yourself. We really hope that everybody will then have fun for this coming chalet.

Rules for chalet( Follow them strictly please)
-Ball games( e.g soccer) are to be played at free times only.
-NO PSP!
-Try to maintain the neatness and cleanliness of the chalet throughout. If not, we'll have alot of trouble on the 3rd day.
-No food fights during meals.
-No strong alcohol drinks, like vodka etc.
-Last of all, NO ARGUMENTS, NO FIGHTING, and try to maintain vulgarities to a minimum.
