Yoz 0713 people!
A few others and I have come up with a study plan to push up our grades in preparation for the upcoming A-levels. We ALSO want to prove that our class can both PLAY and STUDY hard!
ok! So here is the plan...
With effect from next week, I suggest we stay back after school everyday to study for 1-2 hours and engage tutors if needed.
Here are some of the things you should take NOTE!
1)Its not compulsory, you are free to come and go.
2)It is ADVISABLE to revise and look through the notes that the teachers have gone through during lectures or tutorials THAT DAY. Then clarify any doubts with the "smarter" people in our class... lol... GOSSIPING during the session is STRONGLY DISCOURAGED as the time for us together is meant to be for effective study time ONLY!...However, if gossiping session is kept to reasonable limits, it is still acceptable!
(Definition of smarter: Hong Hao lah, blowing his own trumpet!)
3)For days that have PE, we will wash up before studying in the canteen
4)For days that do not have PE, we will use the last classroom as our study venue.
5)For some days, we can study after a class soccer session.
To our class ogls: You may be stunned on how we managed to come up with this mugging idea. It was after MR KWEK and MRS Celine Leow's TALK that made us realise how close the major tests and A-levels are.
*WE have for next week -Physics test(tentative): chapters found in the assignment plus thermal physics -GP on current affairs (wed) . 18 JAN (fri)- chem LT test! . . . . After March hols: Block TEST (>50%) of the syllabus Last week of June: MID YEAR( WHOLE JC 1 and 2 syllabus) September: Prelims End of October: A-LEVELS!
In between the months, we will be loaded with lots of exam supplements i.e: CLASS TESTS and LT TESTS!!!
[OGLs] Mrs Celine Leow said today, the four major tests i.e Block, Midyr, Prelims and A's are elimination rounds to JC 1. If you (touch lots of wood) did not manage to do well enough for any of these tests, there is a high chance of you getting eliminated.
Thus, I hope everyone will take all of these tests and exams seriously and start to prepare for them! I'm sure our class will be more closely bonded through the study sessions. I hope you guys will support the study session! 0713 will rock through the A-level exams together as a WHOLE!
